I'm a product design leader passionate about solving complex problems and crafting exceptional user experiences. For 20 years, I’ve thrived in the mobile world, focusing on the interplay of physical and digital design. Currently, I lead the JSTOR product design team at ITHAKA, where we're developing innovative AI-powered solutions that enhance research for end-users and libraries. Previously, I led global UX teams at Motorola Mobility (6 studios across the US, China, and Brazil) and product design at Grubhub. I'm driven to build high-performing, diverse teams and mentor designers—it's a core passion. My international background (Spanish/English bilingual, schooling in Germany, and experience living in São Paulo, Brazil) has shaped my inclusive leadership style. I also share my expertise as adjunct faculty in Northwestern's MPD program (Master of Product Design and Management) and as an advisor in the EDI program (Engineering Design Innovation). When I'm not working, you can find me cooking or exploring new restaurants.
